Martin Blank (playwright) is currently the Artistic Director for the American Ensemble Theater. His plays have been presented or developed at the Kennedy Center, Ensemble Studio Theatre, American Jewish Theatre, the Pascal Theatre Company, London, Center Stage Theater, Jerusalem, Source Theater, New Gate Theatre, Journeymen Theater, among others. He has been commissioned to write new plays for Theatre Ariel, Georgetown Theatre Company, and the American Jewish Theatre. He has served as Artistic Associate for the American Jewish Theatre and American Place Theatre, New York City, as well as Literary Manager, Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company, and Founding Artistic Director, Theater J.
